My Husband and I have four wonderful kids.  I am passionate about responsible growth, adding more businesses and services for families in Jefferson County, and volunteering to make our community better.

I am a certified general appraiser in three states with a growing small business, recently appointed Jefferson County Planning Commissioner, and volunteer leader in our community backed with action. These positions and experiences provide me with a unique capability of community support and professional experience to meet the county needs as a Commissioner built on trust.

Sean Forney, Morgan County Commissioner

"I am writing to strongly recommend Cara Keys for the position of County Commissioner. As a dedicated Republican and the owner of a successful business, Cara has consistently demonstrated an exceptional ability to balance business acumen with a deep commitment to our community.

In her professional capacity, Cara has shown a keen understanding of property values, economic trends, and the importance of maintaining a fair and transparent system for all stakeholders. This expertise is invaluable in ensuring that our county's fiscal policies are both sound and sustainable.

Beyond her professional qualifications, Cara is a principled leader who values integrity, accountability, and the voices of the constituents. She has a proven track record of advocating for policies that promote economic growth, protect property rights, and enhance the overall quality of life in our county.

Cara brings a unique perspective to the role of County Commissioner, combining hands-on business experience with a strong dedication to public service. I have no doubt that she will continue to serve our community with distinction and make decisions that benefit us all."
